6 months agoDespina is a wonderful host! Everything ran smoothly, and we felt very comfortable from the very beginning. She and her husband were available at all times and immediately helped us with any questions. The accommodation is highly recommended—we would come back anytime! A tip: A rental car is highly recommended for flexible exploration of the surrounding area.

7 months agoDespina was a wonderful host and provided many recommendations. The apartment was a 7 min walk from a supermarket and beach with several restaurants. Chania is only a 15 mins drive away. The pool was a big hit with my children and the apartment was clean and offered all that we needed. Lovely stay. Thanks!

10 months agoThis home is modern and very newly erected...It's stylish, has a calm & serene vibe, and has everything you'll need...the location is perfect for going into Chania or visiting Rethymno. Only 18 mins from the Chania Airport and 10 mins from Chania proper. The Mountainside Outdoor Botanic Gardens are a must, only 28 mins away. Incredible!! Peacocks the size of your biggest dog and very friendly! It's so quiet at night here. We pulled down the blackout shades and slept for 10+ hours EVERY night. Stress free and beyond relaxed. We could easily spend a month here. The weather was uncharacteristically cool (61°) and wet during our stay, but we had two great days to enjoy the pool. We did enjoy the hot tub throughout and it was a nice respite. Despina and her husband were stellar hosts! Truly wanted to be sure we enjoyed our holiday and were helpful with wonderdul restaurant recommendations, even for Rethymno! We ate incredible!! We fell in love with Crete and will miss it greatly! Can't wait to come back. The island and it's people, culture, and food are so lovely and made us feel taken care of. Efharisto! And Yiamas to you and yours!!
