The house includes one bedroom with a double bed and one with twin beds, two bathrooms with showers, and a bright open-plan living space. Prepare your meals in the fully equipped kitchen, then unwind in the cosy living room while watching your favourite shows on the smart TV.

Location

While I haven’t stayed here personally, this is an excellent option for those who want to explore the area more slowly. Sandy Beach and Peristeras Beach are within walking distance (around 1 km), and the surrounding area offers some lovely nature trails. If you enjoy walking or light hiking, you’ll appreciate routes along the Kiliaris River, through Diktamos Gorge, or around the picturesque village of Gavalochori.

The complex offers free private parking, and bike/car rentals are available upon request. If you plan to arrive by air, Chania Airport is about 50 km away, and there’s also an airport shuttle service for convenience.

Villa Evgenia doesn’t offer luxury, but it provides everything you need for a comfortable and meaningful stay—especially if you’re seeking Crete’s quieter, more authentic side.
