I appreciated the laid-back, family-style atmosphere. If you have a car, you’ll be within a few minutes of Kalamaki, Agia Marina, and Agioi Apostoloi beaches — all great for swimming or catching the sunset.
The city of Chania is only 9 km away and makes for an easy evening outing to the old harbour or even a full-day trip if you want to explore its culture, food, and shopping.
