If you want to rent a car in Greece - go car rental is 100% recommendation if you’re looking for high service and good prices. We called to rent a car late at night and the next early in the morning we made a deal. Car war in a perfect condition, everything worked just as it should have. We rented an automatic which was more comfortable for us to drive Greek tricky roads. We drove all over the Crete island and it was amazing experience!! You need a car in Crete! Distances between attractions are big. You need to get to Elafonisi beach. Go Car were fantastic. Great service even though we arrived very early in the morning. Car was perfect. Pick up and drop off at different locations. Highly recommend.

Renting a car here was easy and affordable. Prices are in line with many other rental companies, but generally about 10% cheaper on average. I recommend getting the full insurance – for our 6-day rental it was only €9 and covered all damages, whether self-inflicted or not. The staff speaks good English, and arrangements are easily made via email. We chose the cheapest option, a Fiat Panda. The car was well maintained, but the engine power was too low for mountain roads – we had to drive uphill in 1st or 2nd gear with the pedal to the floor. I’d suggest paying a few extra tens of euros for a more powerful car. Also, the A/C compressor in the budget model was a bit small for the Cretan summer heat. The rental office is easy to find on Google Maps and can be reached from any direction, but parking space is very limited, so keep that in mind if arriving by car. Thanks to their efficient customer service, I can recommend this company and will definitely rent from them again in the future.

I am happy with the service provided by go car. I have rented two cars, one 4x4 and one city car. Cars where clean and properly maintained when given to me and the AC worked which is very important. One problem I've had with the owner is that he really badly wanted me to pay with cash not card which is bad because the atms take 5 euro per withdrawal in Chania. Another thing to watch out for is the internet website where it seemed to me that the insurance is in the price of the rental and that's not the case. Which is written there so I won't take star for it however I thought that the insurance would be included. My mistake but watch out for it. And I cannot imagine renting a car without proper insurance! Another thing is that owner doesnt explain anything about the car so ask him if you have any quesionts. Also I reserved a fiat panda (or similar) and I got similar which was suzuki celerio which in my opinion is worse but whatever I didn't want to haggle over this. Overall the owner didn't try to scam me or anything and is a cheerful guy so I recommend this place.
